Ask how to keep Norton from allowing automatic updates from Microsoft windows automatic update and download, when everytime you click "Norton's attention fix now"??? When you click fix now it changes your setting on internet explorer Microsoft windows update from "allow me to decide which updates to download and install". It will not allow you the freedom to choose which downloads Microsoft updates automatically or to download, or reject,,, Ha.
And they will not give you any way to ask them how to fix...Double HA.
Traditionally, I was on Norton, and due to some commercial prompting and cheaper brands, I decided to try them out. I have got lots of disappointments: Some cannot detect spyware, and some hide the SPAM emails in a hidden folder, making the impression that all is well with the incoming mails. Then on switching from one which sounds like NORTON, but did not detect potentially harmful viruses, my email got infected with TROJAN.
So, after 1 month of ding dongs, I decided to go back to the one that I have been using traditonally and trusted for the last decades, I bought 3 sets of Norton 360, and got one Internet Security for free. And I am amazed by the Norton Software, with PC tune up, Backup files, Firewalls and lots of other features which none of the other brands can give.
Now, its time for me to update my Norton Security, but it has become more expensive, and includes 2GB storage on the Internet, which I do not want, because I can get a thumb drive of at least 8GB to do this. I looked up the updates at 2 websites recommended by PCMag and the prices are $33.99 Internet Security for 3 users and about the same price for the Antivirus. GREAT. Go for it my heart says.
